Atlanta, Sweeden
I developed allergies to dust mites while working for a vet in Atlanta. Eventually I had to stop working there and the allergies went away. I was allergy free for almost 2 years and then moved to Sweden with my husband last July. In Sept my allergies came back worse then ever. Then June thru Aug of this year they went away. As soon as the weather changed they came back again. The climate here is dry and cold. — G.A., Sweeden

In a cold climate people tend to stay indoors more during the fall and winter months. Dust mites are an indoor allergy. I’m assuming June through August are warmer in Sweeden, as they are in the U.S. Perhaps you are outdoors more during those months, so less dust mite exposure. Other possible considerations would be Ragweed which is prevalent in most areas during the fall.
