Allergy Climates and Seasons Rotating Header Image

San Bernardino Valley, Callifornia

I have never experienced allergies (beyond that of petting a cat) in any place I have ever lived–and I have travelled to 40 countries and lived in seven. However, I visited southern California for the first time, to see my father, who is in the San Bernardino Valley. Each time I visit (in the summer), severe allergies hit me and I am almost immobile for days. Claritin D helps for a while, but I have to take it every day. Any advice? — ZB

Could that be some chemicals in the environment?

This is a very good site. It states alot of where you should’nt go how about where I can?

Michigan NOOOOOOOOOOOO if your allergies aren’t bad yet you’ll develop them. I used to live in Colorado. I don’t remember serious allergy problems. There was definately some mold and the trees and if you went into Denver on a “bad air day” definately chemical. The problem is no where is perfect. I’m just looking for a place I don’t have to hit an inhaler when I roll out of bed.
