I came from Russia. There I had asthma and allergy attacs only seasonal. In USA I lived in Denver,Co,IN North Carolina, in NYC. Everywere I had the worst experience whith my asthma and allergy. I think that the best solution for mi is to come back home to Russia. – Liobov, Russia

i am also from russia, and I also have developed allergies in the US. But it’s not just the location that has changed, it’s also the lifestyle, so, it’s hard to say. Ironically, I am not considering Alaska as a place to move. The climate there sounds similar to what we’ve had in .ru
I’m from russia too. Moved to southern California when I was 5. Since then always had trouble with the weather. Had nasal surgery that didn’t help.
Had allergy tests done. I’m allergic to certain types of tree pollen around this area. Tried all over the counter and prescription medicines, sprays, and decongestants. No relief just symptoms get even worse. I have lived in Seattle,WA and never had such a problem. Air up there is super clean and the rain washes everything away. Most trees up there are pine trees which have very heavy pollen that falls straight to the ground and rarely gets into anyones nose. Also its chemical makeup has less allergens. Southern California is also dry and my skin itches,my fingers and lips crack, and my nose feels extremely dry and I get bloody nose a lot.
Seattle- again no problems because of clean humid weather. I lived in Boston,MA and it was good most of the year except for summer because it was really hot and humid and made it hard to breath. Southern California has very hot and long summers combined with my allergies also made it hard to breath. I’ve been considering moving again this time for good. I have my parents and sister here but I’m tired of being miserable and don’t want to live my whole life like that. I want to be healthy and enjoy life! Anyway Seattle seems to be my number#1 choice but I’ve been doing research about other places like Alaska, Minnesota and Colorado. One thing I’d like to say is that before considering any big move it’s necessary to find out what you’re allergic to. Maybe you’re allergic to certain types of trees, shrubs, grasses, weeds or even certain types of foods that can cause nasal, skin and other types of allergies. You can get an allergy test done in your local area and ask to be tested for local and non-local areas that you’re considering moving to. If you have asthma then allergies can make them worse. So its important to get allergy tested and it will help you make a decision as to where you can move to. You could also make a test run to your chosen place first before moving there. Hopefully this helps give you an idea of how you can find a solution for your problem. Also if you’re concerned about finding work, going to school or the cost of living-you can find that anywhere you go if you look for it. Well, by for now and wish you the best!
