Though the winters are long, my southern wife and I just make the best of it and enjoy the different seasons for what they are. She has even been looking forward to winter this year! That being said, I have experienced allergies everywhere except La Paz, Bolivia. I appreciate the idea that one simply needs to live where they are happy and make necessary adjustments for allergies, etc. All the best to y'all! I think the warmer climate makes it so. When I visit up North- such as Saratoga Springs, I feel much better. But I could never live through their winters. I think its what you make of it. I feel for everyone I can relate, God Bless to all of you :) ALWAYS A YEAR OF HELL TO DEAL WITH
