Seattle

I have recurrent sinus infections along with nasal polyps. I have no known allergies. I plan to move to Seattle, WA. Is this area good or bad for people like me with these problems? — CRL, United States

Perhaps some who’ve lived in WA will be able to share more. But you can also learn a lot by clicking the ‘Washington’ link under ‘Locations’ in the sidebar.

    Also recommended:
‘Will moving to another climate help me?’
    ‘Before you move’ and
‘Where can I go to escape allergies?’
You’ll find links to these three items under:
‘General climate info’ in the Categories section of the sidebar.

Perhaps others will be sharing more specific info about Seattle with you also!

Seattle was a nightmare for me I lived their for 13 years and had to see an allergist for chronic sinusitis. The allergies their are awful if your alergic to grass and trees it does not get much worse!!

I recently moved to Seattle from Orange County CA. I am having little head aches in the middle of my forehead. I have never suffered from headaches before so I went to see my MD and the doctor told me that I might be having environmental allergies. (many trees and lots of rain)I am taking Alegra and Naselcort for the allergies but I do not wish to depend on them all the time. any other suggestion?
    Thank you

I live in Seattle and am allergy prone from March – October. Was interested in reading that someone else has that head ache in the middle of their forehead. I get cottony ears, infected sinus’, mucus drainage, occaisional asthma, which sometimes turns into bronchial infections. Was looking for places less allergy prone when I saw Seattle listed as one of the best. Looks like moving isn’t an option.
