San Jose and Bay Area: spring rains mixed blessing, stop pollen flying but grow new

I lived in the Bay Area for most of my life. In San Jose, I found that spring rains made all the pollen stop flying around. BUT the rain caused a new bunch of pollen to grow. The spring pattern seemed to be suffer until about four days after rains. Feel good for four or so days. When summer hit, I felt much better. So rains were a mixed blessing. — Pat, California
