Lung and allergy troubles in Kentucky and California, maybe Colorado or Wyoming?

I moved to east central Kentucky 9 years ago from central California about 9 years ago, have always had lung and allergy troubles, they have definitely got worse here, I thought I would maybe get used to it here, but gets worse every year, I thought about moving, but not sure where. Would like to got to maybe Colorado or Wyoming, anybody have any ideas? Thanks and GOD bless — Gary, Kentucky

Forget Colorado! Probably Wyoming too… I moved here 5 years ago, each year gets worse, this year especially. The spring brings Junipers (which as so obnoxious in Albuquerque the city banned their planting!) and the fall brings ragweed. These are the two that I am most sensitive to, there are numerous others I’m sure for folks with allegries. I am seriously considering the West Coast of Hawaii, life is too short to be miserable everyday! All the medications have many side effects that I don’t care for (worse than the allegries!) so moving is about the only option. Good Luck! -Si

I had minor problems with allergies when living in some parts of California, but found out what major problems were when I moved to Wyoming. The air is clean but the pollens can be brutal in the spring and fall. think I’ll stick to areas with an onshore breeze that blows the irritants away from me. Hawaii here I come.

My sisters live in Colorado and both have had allergies in other states. When moving to Colorado around Pueblo they both feel like different people. They feel great! I lived in Wyoming never had a problem but I never have had allergies. Really Blessed! I think dry climate is best. South is really bad. I live in Texas now and it is one if not the worst state for Allergies.
