I grew up in Connecticut. I lived there until I was in my late 20′s. I suffered from horrible seasonal allergies. I moved to Iowa, where I lived for four years. My allergies decreased considerably. Too bad I didn’t like living in Iowa. Longing to move “back east,” I relocated to West Virginia. I have been here a little over a year and my allergies are terrible. Worse than they ever were in Connecticut. I have had sinus infections galore as well. Too make matters worse, my son, who was born in Iowa, has shown symptons that he might have asthma since moving to West Virginia. In my opinion, Connecticut and West Virginia are not good for allergy sufferers. – Tina, West Virginia

Are these eight states allergy-free?
Last week’s questions about allergies in Boise Idaho has yielded no comments. But it made me think. We’ve been publishing climate information here in Allergy Climates and Seasons for almost 2 1/2 years. Yet no one has written about the 8 states listed below. Are we to assume that these states are allergy-free? Please share any allergy experience you have had in these states.

- Delaware
- Idaho
- Louisiana
