I moved here 10 years ago. I have been feeling sick and tired ever since. Almost all of the time. I only sneeze a little don't cough just feel sick. I have had every test known to man and everything comes back negative. But I'm still sick. I was put on anti-depressants about 8 years ago it doesn't help. Can this be allergies of some sort and if so how can I get well again?

I have lived and travel all over the USA and seem to suffer from one thing or another, trees, pollen, weeds, animals, you name it... I was real bad last winter here in Central Florida where I currently call home, my wife and I traveled to the Florida Keys and with in hours I was allergy free! We are back in Central Florida but plan to travel nice agin for two weeks to the keys, not much grows their and lots of salt air.....wish we could afford to live full time in the keys...

I moved from NJ to Southern Cali... My allergies are out of control here and I take daily meds. In retrospect I remember having to "tolerate" the two months of summer in NJ while waiting for fall. What's a hot weather allergy? The blood tests show nothing. #fun

Kim -- I grew up in central Wyoming -- Douglas. I had a lot of problems with asthma and allergies growing up there. In May when the cottonwood trees were in blossom, I had to leave to stay with my grandparents in Colorado. When they are in season, the streets and lawns are white with their flowers. If I were going to live there again I think I would pick towns in or near the mountains. I've lived in Powell and in Laramie as well and those seemed to be better but I was older and perhaps growing out of some of my allergies. Sheridan or some of the towns in the Big Horn basin -- Lovell, Greybull, Worland, etc. might work for you. Hope this helps.

It's been quite some time since I posted here. Couple of years I think. My allergies just got worse and worse. I finally decided to do the allergy shots and I go once a week and get two shots. I understand I will need to do this for about 5 years. But, I can already tell a slight difference. I still have problems but nowhere as bad as before the shots. I've been on the shots for five to six months. I use an inhaler and nose spray but take no other meds now. I used to take EVERYTHING. LOL I suffer from sleep apnea and will be doing the deviated septum and turbinates surgery on Tuesday. HOping for a good outcome both for the sleep apnea and the allergies.

I just recently arrived Brisbane, Australia and will be here for a few months. It's been almost 4 weeks since I arrived and I've noticed my eczema has been exacerbated a lot by the very warm and humid weather, which I think is partly due to the fact that I'm constantly sweating (and as anyone with any experience with eczema knows, constant sweating + sensitive skin = bad combination). I came here from Canada where it was winter, mind you a relatively mild and humid winter when I left. In general, my eczema tends to be better in drier climates IF and ONLY IF I moisturize a lot (vaseline, the petroleum jelly kind works great for dry, harsh winters). I find that in dry climates, the problem tends to be more cracking and rupturing of the skin due to extreme dryness whereas in humid and warm conditions the problem tends to be more due itchiness as a result of hypersensitivity to sweating.

I've lived in N.Y. for 30 yrs with light seasonal allergies. I now live in Baltimore, MD. I now have moderate to severe allergies ( indoors & out ). Two years ago I developed severe allergic asthma. I take 10 - 14 shots each months for my asthma & allergies. My doctors advised me to leave MD, it would improve my quality of life. I own my home & I'm now on disability. I have to wear masks when in groups of people. I never thought my allergies would spiral out of control like this.
